I'm finding that I spend most of my artistic efforts and time on creating art cards. I'm truly addicted. I haven't done any scrap booking since I took up this new hobby. I have so many unfinished projects that a think I'm probably going to have make some kind of action plan to get the scrap books that I've promised to make for my kids, sister and mom done. My work space is also a mess. I try to be organized, but I still have to move the clutter before I start working. At least I've been able to keep it all in one tiny spot in my bedroom. Soon I hope to have a room that I can call my own private studio. I was paging through a magazine at the book store on where women create. All of the studios are all very different, but you can see all the love that these women surround themselves with. So I'm sending out this wish to the universe - a sunny room with a peaceful view and a lot of storage and a large work table and my favorite music and big cushy chair would be just fine. Well, it's time for dinner. I don't cook much anymore, so we're going out for fast food. Then its back to my soon not be cluttered work table.

Butterfly dreams

Butterflies are another favorite. This card was done with fine tip and paint brush markers. I cut out the butterfly and attached it with a couple of foam dots. I like to layer. I also love that this card can be enjoyed from a horizontal or vertical position.
For this card I used foil tape over a chipboard cut out. I got this tape from a friend who's big on recycling. Thanks Jenn, I love this tape.

never more

I used a clip art image that I altered with black ink and a white gel pen.

I'm ready

This little bird is ready to leave the nest.

ATC: Dreaming

I found these cute little felt cut outs at a close out store and thought they would be an awesome touch to my art cards. I love little birds, so expect to see a lot of them in my art.

ATC: Down

Song inspired ATC ; posssession by sarah mclachlan.
I created this card and a couple of other ones while siting at Starbucks. I also got my I got inspiration from an artist I saw in Somerset Studio magazine,' Danita'. I think I might expand on this to a larger format, like maybe 6'x6'.

Harajuka Girls

I love using Song Lyrics for inspiration. I had a lot of fun with this Song by Gwen Stephani.
These are a few more of my ATCs . I'm having a fun time exploring this art form. I've tried my hand at Inchies. I just bought some clear stamps that were on clearance and I can't wait to use them. I've traded a couple of my ATCs with a friend at work. She put together a cute little book for me to display my cards.
